Class Guidelines and Information
Weekday Classes: We do invite you to unload your machine and sewing supplies at our front door however please park in Green Street for your class duration. A local cafe is within walking distance for lunch.
Weekend Classes: Parking on weekends in the estate carpark is ample. Please bring your lunch as there is little open on weekends.
Training Room: Please note our training room is located on level one (17 steps). We can assist with carrying sewing machines for you. An ensuite bathroom is located on level one, along with tea & coffee making facilities.
Mobile Phones: We request that all mobile phones are turned off, or at least turned to “silent” so that other students are not disturbed. If you need to use your phone, please step outside to do so.
Class Conduct: We aim to provide a relaxed learning environment to enable every class member to flourish. Students can assist with a positive learning environment by respecting each other’s space and exercising general politeness and empathy. No children or guests are to accompany students in our classroom.
Craft & Community:
The Craft Mailbox endeavours to provide a creative and inspiring environment for you to learn in, offering sewing classes for all levels. We aim to run a variety of classes for beginners through to those who want to delve into textile artistry. Our class tutors are experienced sewers, quilters and designers.
Please suggest any other classes you would like to take as we are always open to suggestions and will run classes according to demand.

Bookings and Cancellations Policy
Class Confirmation: Payment for your class is to be made at the time of booking to secure your place. Payment can be made in our showroom, by mail order cheque or money order, via our website, by phone or bank transfer.
Cancellations: Made prior to seven days of the commencement of class forfeit 50% of the class fee. Cancellations within 7 days of class commencement will forfeit the full class fee.
Class Numbers: We do require a minimum of 5 participants for each class. If there are not at least 5 participants, we will contact you and let you know that the class has been cancelled as soon as possible. At that time, you will be given the choice of picking another class, credit, or a refund.
All information is valid as at 14 January 2010. The Craft Mailbox reserves the right to change policies & procedures at their discretion.
